No. The first version converts images in the browser with canvas encoding. It does not call an image generation or editing model.
JPG, PNG, and WebP are supported in the first version. JPG and WebP include a quality control; PNG is lossless and ignores quality.
Only if the browser can decode that file. If it cannot, the item will show a failure. A future server fallback can use Cloudflare Images for broader non-model support.
JPG does not support transparency, so transparent pixels are filled with the selected background color.
Browser canvas conversion captures a still frame. Preserving animation needs a separate non-model server path.
